About Your Provider
Dr. Cortez is a board-certified dermatologist certified by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and has earned the distinction of fellow. She earned her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Afterwards, she completed a traditional transition year and dermatology residency through Ohio University at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center. She is on the adjunctive clinical teaching staff at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Kettering Medical College. Dr. Cortez is also active with the Family Medicine residency training program at Soin Medical Center.
Dr. Cortez’s interests include traveling, CrossFit, reading, and enjoying life to the fullest. She is an avid Dayton Flyers basketball and Cincinnati football fan. She has three grown children, two dogs, and three cats.
