Rocco T. Serrao, MD
About Your Provider
Dr. Serrao is a board-certified dermatologist certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the Ohio Dermatology Association. Dr. Serrao completed his internship at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, OH, and his residency at Wright State University (WSU). He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
As a clinical trialist with a research center in Mason, OH, he has several ongoing trials focusing on atopic dermatitis, acne, alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurativa and psoriasis. He is continually actively involved in clinical trials and publications and enjoys training residents and teaching colleagues nationally. He was among the top 150 medical dermatologists in the country, as ranked by Newsweek in 2022 and 2023.
Dr. Serrao is a native of Pittsburgh and a diehard Penguins fan. Since moving to Dayton, he has been a member of the Dayton Flyers Faithful.
