About Your Provider
Dr. Eisen is a dual-trained dermatologist and dentist. In addition to caring for patients with general dermatologic conditions, he has expertise in diagnosing and treating patients with mouth diseases. He graduated from Columbia University in New York City, receiving his dental and medical training from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Dr. Eisen completed his residency training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
He has also coauthored two textbooks, several chapters in textbooks, and over 50 articles on dermatologic and oral diseases. He is an invited and featured speaker at numerous major medical and dental conferences and has been a visiting lecturer at many universities, nationally and internationally. His contributions to the clinical practice of dermatology were recognized by the Mayo Clinic, which presented him with the prestigious Harold O. Perry Lecture Award. Dr. Eisen has participated in many clinical research trials and has collaborated on oral cancer research projects with The National Cancer Institute. He has been listed as a "Top Doctor" in Dermatology in Cincinnati Magazine every year since 1997.
